St A's Youth - StAY

StAY is the youth group at St Andrew's Street Baptist Church for Year 7-13s. Our aim is to follow Jesus, learn from the Bible  and have a load of fun at the same time!

Usually, we meet at 10.45am on Sunday mornings, starting in the main service with the rest of the church. After 20 minutes we move into our Number 40 area for some games, refreshments, and some teaching meant particularly for young people. 

We have traditionally held activities on Friday evenings too but these are taking a rest at the moment.

Rosie and Jack head up the youth leadership team. They got married in 2014 and have been volunteering with the youth group for several years. Jack is an Architect and Rosie works for the NHS. There are several other leaders who help out on a regular basis, but you'll have to come along to meet them all!  Our leaders are all DBS checked and have safeguarding training; our safeguarding policy can be found here.

Please also see the Youth for Christ website for week day activities in no 40 for 11-18 year olds and the Facebook page for information on latest events.  No 40 is part of the church centre and we are in partnership with Cambridge and District Youth for Christ to use this as a well being space for young people.
