Children's Ministry - JAM and Creche

Our Sunday morning programme for children aged 3 years to 11 years old is all about having fun, making friends, finding out more about the Bible, and the children getting to know Jesus for themselves. 

Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our childrens' workers are DBS checked and have safeguarding training.  Our safeguarding policy is reviewed annually and can be found here.  There is always a trained First Aider on site.  

On a normal week, the children join everyone else in the service for about the first 15 minutes. Then, after a prayer for them and the leaders, all of the children and leaders head to the lower hall.  We have games, a snack and a Bible time.

For children aged 3 and under, we have a Creche running alongside JAM.  Parents can stay and play with their children or can leave them and return to the service; a helper will come and collect you if your child does not settle or needs you for some other reason.  The children can choose themselves whether to play with toys or as they get older, join the JAM activities for part of the session.

Once the children make the transition to secondary school, they move up into our Youth Group.
