Regular Gatherings

We have small groups meeting midweek.

September 2021 - We will be having 4 midweek meetings exploring what is meant by Theological labels.  After this, homegroups will resume studing 'Celebration of Discipline'.  Contact office@stasbaptist.org to find out more.

Our homegroups meet once a week at regular times, usually in people's homes.  Homegroups are a great opportunity to study the Bible and pray together, and thereby get to know a small group within the church better, which helps with the larger group of the church family itself!  For more information, please contact Ken Hori, the coordinator.

Our Bind Us Together group is a midweek homegroup that usually meets in the Church fortnightly, from 1.30pm.  Led by Hilda and Diana, it provides a supportive environment for discussion, study and prayer.  Please see the Calendar for dates when the group is running.

Open Door is a drop in on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm in the Church.  Come for 5 minutes or the whole two hours, the group is an open door to those who might be feeling lonely and in need of a chat over a cuppa.  Set up by Hilda, just come along to find out more.

Friday Focus meets on the 1st Friday of most months (September to June) in our Upper Hall.  All over 50s are very welcome.  For £5, you receive a tasty home cooked two course meal and the opportunity to listen to a short interesting talk.. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Our Men's Group, which is now run jointly with Barton Baptist Church Men's Group, gathers about once a month on a Friday evening for an event such as talk or walk around the Countryside Restoration Trust farm in Barton, followed by a bring and share meal.  All St A's men are welcome.  For more information contact the organiser, John Page
